Gearing Up To Go!

Y'all. Arizona has exceeded all of our expectations. We have found a [winter] desert oasis and we're so sad to leave! But also, it got up to 98 degrees last week sans Nick Lachey and it was NOT CUTE. Cue frantic packing and purging. Just kidding, we don't purge anymore. We just keep everything and I'm pretty sure our RV is leaning. Like, While -You - Were - Sleeping - Joe - Junior style. If you don't get the reference do yourself a favor and just watch it. It's Sandra Bullock's best work and you're not living your best life if you haven't seen it. Also, it's streaming, so no excuses.

We've been squeezing out every last little bit that the Phoenix area has to offer. Except Tombstone and Saguaro National Park-we missed those-regretfully so. I'm sure we'll be back to visit [in the wintertime] sometime soon.

She didn't come to see us but it was a happy coincidence. We met Jeanette in Idaho Falls, probably the coldest place on earth [literally], and we saw her again in Phoenix, the hottest [literally].

I have 3 shifts then it's off to San Diego! I'm so excited I just can't hide it. We're going to be camping at Joshua Tree National Park and then it's beaches and seagulls for the rest of summer! We see you San Diego! We can almost taste you!

Hello Chi Town!

Ryan and I are officially settled in our new city. We've really lucked out in the weather department so far, I'm hoping it stays that way till January 2nd. Fingers crossed. Everyone here seems to think it's going to get really cold. Haven't they heard about El Nino!? :) Oh. My. Goodness. The move in to Chicago was probably the easiest in my 3 year travel experience. I've started going through a new travel agency and our housing comes fully furnished down to the silverware-without any extra cost to me! If we really wanted to make it easy on ourselves we could've just traveled with our dogs and our suitcases and been just fine. Going with this new company has definitely been a learning curve. I'll cover the pros and cons of large/small travel agencies in another post. I'm definitely likin' the way things are going so far,  but my momma didn't raise no dummy so I'm cautiously optimistic. Oh my gosh y'all it's my first blog!!  I'm so nervous!! What if it's boring?! What if no one reads this!?  If they do, then what if they hate it!?  What if all those grammar nazis call me out on run on sentences and the correct use of there, their, and they're?!  You know what I have to say to you people?  It's probably going happen so I'm just gonna need you to deal with it!...Just kidding, don't hate me please.
